Marcus Nasarek has been working in the Payment and Banking sector for more than 20 years, has helped to develop payment schemes, and has been involved in various roles in the regulation of payment services from design to implementation. He is currently involved in multiple global payment and identity projects, e.g. the EU Digital Identity Wallet and the development of the Digital Euro. He co-built a number of start-ups, primarily in the areas of payment, crypto, and blockchain, and is co-founder of the boutique consultancy etonec, the digital attestations platform Hakata, and sideos which is a web3 identity middleware.
